Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes

January 8, 2008

In Attendance:  David Leone (Chair), Michael Brogna, Richard O’Connor

Audience Members Present

Dave called the meeting to order at 6:03pm.

Dave read the selectmen’s meeting minutes of Dec. 18, 2007 to the audience.

Dave made a motion to accept the meeting minutes as written, Mike 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Dave read a list of upcoming appointments. Mike mentioned that the New Hampshire Society for the Protection of Forests will be at the next selectmen’s meeting.

Dollard Associates confirmed that the acreage amount submitted by Barnard Associates for Map 4 Lot1 is correct.  The tax map and property card will be adjusted to the new amount of 2,493 acres.

Dave made a motion to table the Stanley Jackson penalty abatement until next week, Mike 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Dave made a motion to sign to Health Insurance Policy change form, Rich 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Dave made a motion to sign the Health Benefits Probation Period Exception Policy form, Mike 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Dave made a motion to table the setting of the 2007 Bill Posting cutoff date until next week, Rich 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Rich wanted to thank Dave for going through the Avitar contract and solving a billing error that has resulted in a $19,500 refund.

Dave gave a brief update on the Police Chief search.  He and Rich sat in on several interviews on Monday, and they would like to thank the committee for all the time and work they have put in to it.

Glen Hansen wanted to thank Mike and Dave for helping him out with some plowing.

Dave made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:26pm, Rich 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.
