Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes

January 22, 2008

In Attendance:  David Leone (Chair), Michael Brogna, Richard O’Connor, Pamela Hamel (Administrative Assistant)

Audience Members Present

Dave called the meeting to order at 6:01pm.

Dave read a list of upcoming appointments and the selectmen’s meeting minutes of Jan. 15, 2008 to the audience.

Dave made a motion to accept the meeting minutes as written, Rich 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Mike said he would like to meet with the Conservation Commission to hear their opinions and concerns about the Forest Legacy projects as presented by the Society for the Protection of NH Forests.  The Board will be meeting with the Commission on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7pm.

Mike made a motion to sign the Delegation of Deposit Authority, Dave 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Rich made a motion to sign the letter to Kevin Maass, Mike 2^nd, all in favor, so voted.

Dave announced that Kevin Wilbur has been hired as assistant to the road agent, and Ron Madan has been hired as the alternate assistant to the road agent.

Mike displayed some pictures of the sign at the Everett Hobart Memorial Park.  They are being considered for the cover of the Town Report.

Dave thanked Kyle Andrews of Andrews Painting for using his ladder to change the battery in the smoke detector in the Town Hall.

Dave said they are currently conducting interviews for the Chief of Police position.
