Meetings: The Select Board meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. NOTE: For February they will be meeting the 1st and 2nd Tuesday of the month instead.

IMPORTANT DATES REGARDING ELECTIONS/TOWN MEETING

*Candidate night will take place Tuesday, March 4, 2024 at the beginning of the Select Board Meeting

*Town Elections will take place Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 11:00am-7:00pm at the Groton Town House

*Town Meeting will take place Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 9:00am at the Groton Town House.

*Any resident of the Town of Groton who wishes to file a declaration of candidacy for the following Town offices, may do so between January 22nd through January 30th, 2025 at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours:  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-4pm, Tuesday noon-7pm, ending Friday, January 30th at 5:00pm.

GROTON SCHOOL BALLOT INFORMATION:

The following items will be on the Groton School Ballot:

Ø  Article 1 – Election of District Officers:

        *Can do write ins as well 

Articles 2 and 3 ‐ Proposed Amendments to the Articles of Agreement:

Ø  Article 2: Shall the Pasquaney School District vote to amend Article 3 of the Articles of Agreement among the School District towns of Bridgewater, Hebron and Groton to add teo at large School Board members to increase the board from 3 members to 5 members.

             (Majority vote required) (School Board Recommends Approval)

Ø  ARTICLE 3: Shall the Pasquaney School District vote to amend Article 4c of the Articles of Agreement among the School District towns of Bridgewater, Hebron and Groton to simplify   the minimum contribution from each town to a minimum of 15 students.

              (2/3 Majority vote required) (School Board Recommends Approval)
